In honor of my brother, lost to suicide, I encourage everyone to share this message. If we can just get everyone to #TalkToYourKidsAboutSuicide the children would have the power and knowledge to help them navigate through any situation. Before my brother, the only conversations I had ever had about suicide were jokes. I wish my brother and I knew more about what suicidal thoughts mean and how they are treatable. 90% of people who seek treatment for suicidal thoughts are cured. Let's make sure our children know they can ask for that treatment!
